Jamie Maule-ffinch is a director and screenwriter with 15 years experience of shooting globally. He has a distinct visual style rooted in classic storytelling techniques and a love for character-led stories told with wit, emotional depth, and a cinematic eye.
He is currently casting his debut feature, due to shoot in Scotland with Randan Productions in Q4 of 2025. He also has a television series in development with FreeTurn, set to be pitched to major commissioners later this year. Previously, Jamie developed a show with Gaumont Productions and acclaimed TV director Dan Zeff (Inside No. 9, Siblings, Lost in Austen).
His short films Morning After and The Bathtub Clown won awards at the Discover Film Festival including Best Comedy and Best Screenwriting. His web series Tits Up was nominated at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival for Best Web Series.
Above everything, he loves to collaborate with friendly people, work closely with actors and create films that explore humanity through extraordinary situations.
