Autumn came and with it brought a fantastic opportunity for me to write and direct a spot for Alibaba. On a loan out to Hub TV, their client wanted something that was fun and demonstrated how their services take the pain out of international trading.

Getting a cracking deal on kit we managed to steal some Cooke anamorphics to give me a wonderful width to the image. This came in handy when photographing the brilliantly made sets from art director Jo Ryan.

A cast of characterful wallies were found to bring an amusing tone to these vignettes and Little Britain's Steve Furst lent his vocal chords for the voice over to bring everything together.

I'm dead proud of this one. Fingers crossed they want more!
